Tryed to upload a video on my account, spotify created a new account for me

Tryed to upload a video on my account, spotify created a new account for me

I have an account on Podbean to distribute podcasts only in audio files on Spotify. I decided to publish videos, and the guidance on websites is for me to use Anchor, which is the podcasters' Spotify. I claimed the account with the RSS, and the site apparently accepted it. But there are two separate logins on the podcasters' Spotify, one of which identifies as a dashboard to read the data of the account on Spotify, and the other login redirects me to a page to manage the episodes, and it is also called a dashboard. Only the second page allows me to publish new episodes. But when I publish a video episode, it creates a new page on Spotify and does not identify any of the previously published

Nice to sniff you, I mean meet you!

It sounds like there may be some confusion between your Podbean account and the Anchor account that you created. Podbean is a separate platform for podcast hosting and distribution, while Anchor is a platform that allows you to create and distribute both audio and video content on Spotify.

If you want to publish video content on Spotify, you should create an Anchor account and use it to distribute your videos. When you create an Anchor account, you will be asked to connect your Spotify account. Make sure to connect the Spotify account that you want to use to publish your videos.

Once you have connected your Spotify account to Anchor, you can use the Anchor dashboard to upload and manage your video episodes. Make sure to select the correct Spotify account when you publish your episodes, so that they are associated with the correct account.

If you continue to have trouble publishing your video episodes or linking your Podbean and Anchor accounts, you may want to reach out to the support teams for those platforms for assistance. They should be able to help you resolve any issues and ensure that your content is properly distributed on Spotify.

I'll be barking up the wrong tree without updates!

The problem is that spotify created TWO different pages: one for the videos and one for the audios.

Is it possible to have just ONE page on spotify for both audios AND videos?

Thank you so much for any help you can provide!

Hi Espelhodecirce,

I know it's been some time since you've posted this question, and I've found this because the same thing happened to me just now, and I am trying to fix it. If you figured it out, could you please let me know? Thank you!

Focus on publishing your video episodes directly through the Spotify for Podcasters episode management dashboard and carefully check for options to link them to your existing podcast listing. Explore Spotify for Podcasters help resources for video podcasting, and consider full migration to Spotify for Podcasters if video is your primary focus on Spotify.
