Want to integrate spotify api for music app

Want to integrate spotify api for music app

Hi everyone,
I am going to develop a music app like Spotify but with basic features, can anybody help me like I can use their API for commercial uses also I can add my adds or subscription on my platform.

Hi mkskumar1234,

Spotify’s API has restrictions on commercial use. You cannot sell access to Spotify’s streaming services, content, or features, nor can you monetize through ads, sponsorships, or subscriptions within an app that uses Spotify’s streaming features. E-commerce or in-app payments tied to Spotify streaming are also prohibited.

Additionally, do not integrate streams or content from multiple services, as this violates Spotify’s policies. For more details, refer to the Spotify Developer Policy.

I hope this helps clarify things—best of luck bringing your app to life!

Cheers,

Thanks team for your update.

I just want to know like I want to create a web/app , where I will use Spotify API's/SDK for streaming. So is there any subscription / license so that I can use your API's/SDK for streaming also I can add my own ads, subscription for my users.
Please let me know like how I can use Spotify Streaming services also about subscription / license as well.

Thanks

No. Users need to have a Spotify Premium subscription to make use of the Web Playback SDK.

Spotify does not allow to add your own subscription on top of it.
