I am trying to understand what a streaming SDA is and therefore, what a non-streaming SDA is.
Who can point me to somewhere that I can read more specifially where the difference is?

Streaming is if I let users play a full song while non-streaming is either audio preview clip or no music at all?
Is that correct?
Additionally, does that mean that I do not need a written approval for commercialization if I only use audio preview clip in a service?

I’m afraid I cannot give you an official and binding interpretation of these Terms and Conditions.
Personally, I think you’re right as the terms state audio preview clips are not included for “Streaming”.

Not yet, no. It stayed a hobby project.
the iOS SDK is a remote, its technically not streaming. is this considered a non streaming application SDA?
@mjynrose I believe, based on this link from Spotify (https://developer.spotify.com/compliance-tips#special-considerations-for-streaming), that even usage of the iOS SDK as a remote still qualifies as a "Streaming SDA":
