My Question or Issue

Hi,

I used to live in the US, and I created my premium account (not this account) there.

Recently, I temporarily moved back to Syria, but only to find out that I can't access the Spotify platform AT ALL!!

Banning the subscription or banning new account creation in Syria is reasonable.

But banning the whole entirety of the Spotify platform isn't fair and is unprofessional and unethical.

I can no longer access my music library or anything. I.e literally the spotify app no longer loads (returns with "You're offline" message), and the website returns back with a message: ERROR 403 FORBIDDEN.

So, I'm currently paying you Spotify, and you're not allowing me to access my account or do anything.

My request is to allow us (premium account holders) whom are paying you and have created their accounts outside FORBIDDEN countries to access their accounts there.

I hate to say it, but you're leaving me and many others no choice but to migrate to another music patform.

I hate saying that because I've been using Spotify since 2017.

I request you to stick to the concept you're advertising ("music for EVERYONE ") and not just doing obvious discrimination to people whom haven't chosen where they were born and do not deserve this type of racism and discrimination.

I.e., is previous war in a country whom it's people didn't choose to live or be part of this conflict a morally acceptable resson for you to ban them from accessing the entirety of your platform since 2020??!

SHOULDN'T MUSIC BE AWAY FROM POLITICS?!

I respect that you're gradually expanding and supporting new countries. And I'm NOT requesting you to unban the premium subscription or account creation in Syria because that's reasonable. Instead, I'm requesting you to allow me (a current paying premium account subscriber who created his account in the US since 2017) to access the account he's paying for. Here in Syria.

Looking forward to hearing from you and to accessing my music library again.

Regards,

Dhahi.
