I have purchased premium but i am still getting commercials and ads

Hey @ccbrice,

Thanks for posting an welcome to the Community!

We understand that you're missing your Premium features on your current account after you have purchased the subscription. You can always check the status of your account in your account overview page. If everything with your purchase went right, you should have received a notification email in the mailbox connected to your account, where Spotify informs you about the subscription's activation. Look for it to be sure all went well with your purchase and your transaction was successful (it's worthwhile to look about this mail in your Spam filter too).  

Also make sure you're not logged into an additional free account on your device, because that could be one other accidental reason for you to still be hearing commercial breaks. You can also check the tips here to see how log out from everywhere just in case.
