Cancelled Free trial on the day of my expiration, yet still charged

I recently tried out the spotify free trial, but wanted to cancel before they send the bill for the new month. I'm not unhappy with the service, but I only wanted to try it out for the free month, I specifically planned to cancel the trial one month later to avoid being charged. However, when I look at the receipt, it said it charged my $9.99. Is there anyway they can refund me?
