Changing subscriptions

Changing subscriptions

Me and my friend have been sharing a single Premium account for some time now. We’ve been thinking of switching to a Double subscription since it’s uncomfortable to turn off wifi if we both want to listen at the same time. Will we both keep our Liked songs on our accounts if we switch plans?

Hello @whslpimm!

I'll try to help you out. The Duo plan allows two separate Spotify account to have access to Premium features. If you were both using the same account, one of you will have to create a new account in order to be able to listen to music independently.

This means you won't have your saved songs in both accounts. However, you could try these steps to transfer your playlists to a new account.

Make sure to let me know if you have any questions 🙂

Addition to the comment of Jose_M: Premium Duo is a discount plan for 2 people who live together.
