Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

 

Changing your subscription shouldn’t cause you to lose any playlists or saved music. However, if your playlist appears to be missing after upgrading to Spotify Premium, you might’ve accidentally created a second account and signed into that one instead. For this reason, I would recommend checking these steps to see if you have a second Spotify account.

Thanks, so you’re right! I do have two accounts. Accidentally used diff email when I signed up for premium. Is there a way to get my playlist in my “free” account moved to my premium account without having to choose every song again?

You can transfer your playlist from your free account to your Premium account by following the steps in this Spotify Answer.
