Got Premium Duo for my wife and I, she is getting ads while listening to music. Not podcasts, music. We aren't paying for duo to get ads.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

 

If your wife is getting ads during the music playback, it is possible that she might be using a free account instead of the Duo one by mistake. In this case, we'd first recommend your wife to log out from the current account and back in following the steps in this article.

 

If the issue persists, it's possible that the account joined to your plan has different credentials to log in to. In this case, we'd also recommend her to check out this article for more info. If the joined account is not the correct one, you can remove it from your plan and invite your wife again by following the steps mentioned in this article. Make sure she's accepting the invite from the right account.
