Getting an error page when trying to upgrade to Premium

My Question or Issue

I'm trying to upgrade my account to premium but I'm getting an error page no matter from which device, option or plan I select. I tried using anonymous tab, tried on the phone, different browsers and everything goes to the same error.

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

 

Spotify is currently aware of an Ongoing Issue causing an error message to appear when activating, reinstating, or upgrading Spotify subscriptions. The right team is aware of this issue and is currently looking into it.

 

I recommend adding your +VOTE to this Ongoing Issue, as well as adding a comment there to provide the team with the following info:

  • Your device + OS version
  • Your internet browser version
  • The URI link of the page where the error shows up

It will also be useful for you to Subscribe to the Ongoing Issue by clicking the three dots next to its title; that way, you can be sure to be informed of any relevant updates.
