How come I be charged 29,858 VND ($1,22) in the first trial month of a Premium account?

Hi,

I recently checked my banking account as a monthly financial checking habit. 
I then realized I had been charged $1,22 on the day that I purchased Premium account, which is questioning since I had been informed by Spotify that I will be charged on 08/02/2024 instead of 08/02/2024 due to I received 1-month trial.

Spotify staff please help 🙂 this is considered being dishonest in selling.

It's possible that this was a temporary authorization charge to see if the payment method is valid and can be used for recurring transactions. If that's the case, the funds will be returned in the upcoming days. You can reach out to your bank for more details on the matter.

Something else that's worth checking is if you have multiple Spotify accounts. This article contains info on how to proceed further.
