Inviting person to Premium Duo

My Question or Issue.  I (manager) send invite to partner for new Premium Duo. She clicks on link and accepts invite. There is no mention of address. Tries to download Spotify App and it is a 30 day free app. Can not open a separate account for her? How does this work? Lost and over 60 🙂

Premium Duo is a discount plan for 2 people who live together. Each person on the plan gets all the Premium features on their account, so no one shares a password and everyone keeps their own saved music and playlists.

First, you need to make sure that the person you're inviting has already a free account on Spotify. After this, you can send the invite to the user you want to join your plan for them to complete it.

The invite must be accepted by the other user on its own device and with their own account to be able to join. Then, the system will ask to fill in some info including the address. Once the user finishes the process, they'll be part of your Premium Plan. You can find more info and a video in this article.
