My Question or Issue

 

I would like to cancel my Family subscription and revert to the free version, but plan to reactivate later in the year. Would it be possible to reactivate the family plan with existing members, playlists and settings, and if so, could this be done automatically or would it be like setting the family group up again from scratch?

Hi there @ronniewib,

 

Thanks for reaching out in the Community about this.

 

So this is how it works - You can switch from being a Family Owner to a regular Premium Individual. Once you do this only your subscription status will change (Family plan Member accounts will be automatically set to Free). All account info like songs, playlists, albums, friends etc. will remain exactly the same.

 

You can then re-upgrade to Premium Family in the future, but note that you'd need to send invites again and go through address verification with the Members you invited to the plan. They should have no issues joining your plan again.

 

To switch plans simply:

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Under Your plan, click CHANGE PLAN.
