Money deducted from my visa card but there are no updates about it on account overview.

Money deducted from my visa card but there are no updates about it on account overview.

     I'm using recurring payment and I got a notification that my bank account has low balance than needed to charge. So I tried updating my card details with another debit card then after updating it, money got detected from the account but I can't see any confirmation of payment on the account overview. Please help me with this problem. Please let me if I get a refund or will they add the money to the spotify account.

Hey @RealPrime, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Since you have updated the payment details and you've been charged on the new card, can you wait a few days and let me know if your subscription remains active? 

 

I can follow up with you later this week to see if the message stays there or if it disappears. What do you think? 

 

Also, make sure that you're able to use the Premium features in the app - and if not, let me know and I'll see what to suggest.

The money got refunded to the bank account. A while ago, I tried again updating the card details with the old card which I use before for Spotify subscription. But, I get an error but the amount got charged again. I use the old card and it usually works but this time it is not working.

Thanks for getting back to us. 

 

Based on the screenshots you sent, we believe you're located in India.

 

If this is the case, we can confirm that due to new banking regulations introduced in your region, our payment providers may be unable to process recurring payments. We’re working on a fix as soon as we can, but it may take a while.

In the meantime, you can get Premium by either making a one-time payment or purchasing our annual subscription. 

 

If you need help with anything else, just let us know.
