Welcome to the Community!

 

Can you give us a bit more details about your Premium plan? Does your account page show that you're on Spotify free or does it still say that you're on Premium? What kind of subscription were you on - Premium individual/ Family etc.?

 

Check if your payment method has not expired and that it has sufficient funds. It's possible that the system was not able to deduct the monthly subscription fee and your subscription was automatically canceled due to this.

I have the same issue.  When I try to log in it says the app is only available to premium users.  I have been a premium user for years and I see the payment go through on paypal each month.  I can't find a email or # to call.  I am about to cancel my subscription over this.

my brother payed his premium with a 6 day delay, it's march 4 and Spotify didn't knowledged the payment yet. he got in touch with the bank, and it was everything correct with them, the payment was done. So we think the problem it's that until now, Spotify is still charging him for a payment that is already done. I'm trying to help him, but we can't find proper answers, can you help us?

With some payment methods it can take some time for the purchase to go through and for the Premium subscription to start on Spotify. If you've already checked with the bank and everything's in order from their end, it's worth double-checking which account your brother has logged into. 

 

If you think it's possible for him to have another account and he logged into it by mistake, take a look at the info here

 

On another note, if he's seeing the error message in the app that it's only available for Premium users, a clean reinstall can help with this. 

 

Should the issues persist, it'd be awesome if you could give us some more info so we can get a better understanding and decide which steps to suggest next.

I have this exact problem i have checked on the official site that its still not expired till 9/15/2025 but on the app Its not on premium. I tried different methods to fix this issue like logging in and out even reinstalling the app clear the cache files etc.. its still doesn't work
