Over debiting me even though I’m a student

Over debiting me even though I’m a student

Hello, spotify’s debiting me 9,99 € even though I’m a student and i have confirmed my status, I would like a refund for all the times that spotify has debited me 9,99 € even though I had the student status. Thank you.

I have the same problem but no one there to reply us.

Hey folks,

Thanks for posting in the Community and sorry for our late response here. 

I get that you are currently studying but not taking advantage of your student discount for Spotify subscription. Let's see if I can give you more info here. As you are probably aware, your student status has to be re-verified every single year from by our partners at SheerID for the discounted price to be activated on your account (and this can be repeated for a total of 4 years). Make sure this is the case for you and you've re-verified through SheerID successfully on time.

 

About 4 weeks before expiration of your current status, you should receive an email with instructions on how to renew and re-verify your eligibility with SheerID. You can read more about the renewal process on our support article here.  

In case you think there is some sort of issue with your status verification, then feel free to get in touch with the SheerID support team.
