Paying for premium with a gift card

I already have a free spotify account, but I would like to upgrade to premium however I don't want to use my credit card. If I go to the store and purchase spotify gift cards can I upgrade my account using just those or will I still have to enter in credit card information along with that?

Hey @juliafrasch, welcome to the Community!!

If you're using a gift card to pay for your Premium, you won't be required to enter payment details. I can actually attest to this - I've been subscribed to Premium for years, always off gift cards, and I've never entered a credit card number or anything of the sort. Just head to www.spotify.com/redeem and enter the code from your gift card to redeem it! And don't forget to redeem another code before your subscription runs out, since automatic payment won't be set up! 🙂
