Paying for premium yet still getting spammed with ads in podcasts

My Question or Issue

Recently a favourite podcast of mine has gotten really greedy. They run a 30 second ad at the start of the pod, in the middle and then at the end, whilst also having a sponsored ad in the pod as well, surely this goes against something with premium. It’s a bit of a joke getting this many ads while also paying $17 a month.

Spotify Premium is indeed a non ad service on music content. 

However, some podcasts might have third-party ads embedded within their episodes.

Unfortunately, this content is being received already with those adds in it, so it's not possible to remove them.

Hope this sheds some light on the issue.

As premium members, we pay Spotify and Spotify retibutes podcasters, who are supposed to abide by the rules...

It's really annoying to pay for a premium service and yet get bombed with ads, especially when you're far from your device and can't skip them...
