Spotify Premium- 6 Months Free with Samsung S10e purchase

Country - USA

Device - Samsung Galaxy S10e

Operating System - Android

Purchased and received a Samsung Galaxy S10e two days ago.  The purchase included Spotify Premium- 6 Months Free. Info provided by Samsung: "Open and log in to Spotify app on your new device. Select ‘Premium’ tab on the bottom to redeem."

When doing so, the only option was for 1-month free. I continued, expecting to see the 6 Months Free later in the transaction or when checking out. Did not happen. 

Result - Individual Premium account with 1-month trial.

 

I contacted Samsung and got the following instructions:

Here is the information that you are looking for. 

  1. Open Spotify App  on your new Samsung Galaxy Device
  2. Go to your  Account > Profile (or Create account if you already do not have an account)
  3. Tap Premium tab on the bottom of your screen. 
  4. Select TRY IT FREE
    Note: You will have to add your Billing information as part of the registration process. You will not be charged during the Trial period.  

I cancelled my brand new Spotify Premium account to try the the new instructions.  Once again unsuccessful. Result - Spotify Free until 8/8/2020.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, right now we have a 6 months trial offer for users who have Samsung S20. The deal for Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note series ended on March 7th.

 

If you've created your account two days ago, you were eligible for another offer, that we have - the one month free Premium. If you go here and can see on your account overview page that you have Premium till 8th of August, that means that you've successfully activated the Premium features.
