Spotify won't accept payment details

Spotify won't accept payment details

I keep getting an error message when I try to input my payment information: Something went wrong. Try again, or get help. 

 

I have used a different browser, device, internet connect, payment method (credit/debit), cleared my cookies, history, there are no issues with my cards. I am trying to sign up for premium student and was already approved.

In order to help and provide further steps, please make sure to state the following :

- Device in use

- Country

- Premium type (state old subscriptions if there were any)

- Have you used incognito web page for the process ?

 

In the meanwhile, make sure to follow the steps provided on this payment troubleshooting page.

Can you confirm that the payment method you're using was issued in the same country you're from ?

 

This is a basic rule for payment methods to pass through correctly.

@OneByBoo Yes, cards are for the same country that is listed on my account.
