My Question or Issue

I have been using spotify student now for over a year and my subscription has changed back to full premium because I hadn’t verified again that I was a student. The problem is that I never got a notification or a mail that I needed to verify it, so now I payed twice for 9,99 instead of 4,99. Is it possible I can get my money back for those two months (I just verified via SheerID that i’m a student).

Hi @mirakel,

 

The student discount is always only valid for 12 months at a time, so sounds like your expired. We actually send automatic reminder emails before that happens. You should have received an email from us 1 month beforehand, with the option to reapply. It might be that your email had unfortunately landed in your spam folder.

 

If your payments are within 14 days, our CS team can provide a refund, so best to get in touch with them. Do note however that it's not possible to provide refunds that are past 14 days ago, so it's always best to get in touch with our support as fast as possible when you have any issues related to payments.
