Upgrading from premium to family

I currently have a regular premium subscription. The payment just went through last week. I decided I want to switch ot the family plan so my kids can have premium features too.

I went to upgrade, and it looks like it will cost me $14.99, even though I just paid $9.99. Will this be the amount charged on my card, or will the first month just be the $5 difference between the individual and family plans? If it's going to be the full amount, I'll wait until I'm closer to the end of my subscription. Otherwise, I'll do it now. Thanks.

No worries. If you upgrade your subscription from regular Premium to Premium for Family, your payment date will likely be a few days earlier than it had been. This is because of the difference between the price of Premium for Family and the regular Premium subscription you were on.

You won't be double-charged, but instead, the time that you paid for regular Premium will be converted into Premium for Family plan time. You can track all this on your subscription page.

what about if you paid for the Premium plan in full? We bought the premium plan in Aug 2017 and now want to upgrade to the Family premium. will we be charged only the difference or double charged?

I paid for Premium for the year but would now like to upgrade to Premium Family, will i get a credit on what I have already paid?  How do I upgrade?  Sorry, I'm confused.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We'll gladly give you more information about the subscription.

When you have a Premium Individual subscription, you can always upgrade to Premium Family. You won't be charged twice. Only the next billing date will be earlier than before. This happens because of the price difference between these two offers.
