Why isn’t Spotify accepting any payments from me?

I have tried many different cards and it doesn’t accept it

Thanks for getting in touch about this and welcome to the Community. 

 

Could you let us know if you're getting any error messages? If so, sending us a screenshot of it would come in handy. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

 

On another note, you can check what payment methods you can use here and the main reasons as to why the payments might fail here.

The same thing is happening to me I try changing my Spotify plan and it keep saying payment declined but I have the money to pay if I even change payment method still declined I even waited until the next day to try again but it keeps saying declined

I’ve been having the same issue with my spotify account for the past two months and I’ve used several different payment methods that usually works

Thanks for your reply and for the info shared. 

 

Since you mentioned you've tried different payment methods, it might be worth making sure your bank or payment provider has your correct details (phone number or email). They may need to verify your identity for security, ex. with a password, PIN, fingerprint, or code sent to your device.

 

Just to confirm, have you tried some of the troubleshooting steps you find in this article? If yes, let us know so we can avoid repeating any steps. As mentioned by @Eni above, you can send us a screenshot of the error you're receiving when trying to subscribe. 

 

Note: Be aware this is a public space, so please don't share any personal info on the screenshot you'll send us.
