not the same prices

Hello, I'm a student who wants t subscribe to Spotify premium and my account is verified, in the app it shows that the plan is 2.49$/month however when i proceed to payment section it shows that the subscription is 5.99$/month, why is that?

Thanks for coming to the Community. 

It’s possible you might be seeing the prices for a different country. Keep in mind that your Spotify account needs to be registered in the same country as your university, and you’ll also need a payment method issued in that country.

You can visit this page and double-check that the correct country is selected at the bottom of the page before proceeding.
