when does spotify charge my card?

Just realized my card had no money and got premium. I cancelled because I was worried that it would get charged. So I was wondering does spotify charge you as soon as you get premium? Or the month after? Also this isn't my first time with premium.

If you're not eligible for any trial, you'll be charged as soon as you subscribe to Premium.

You can check if you've been charged following the steps here. 

In case that you don't want to keep using your subscription, you can cancel it so on the next billing date you won't be charged. Check this article to know how to do so.
