Alphabetical Playlist Organizer

Alphabetical Playlist Organizer

Hey Spotify! 🙂

I propose a feature that allows users to organize their custom playlists in alphabetical order. This simple addition will enable listeners to quickly find their favorite tracks, enhancing their overall music experience.

As music libraries grow, organizing playlists alphabetically can save users time and reduce frustration, making it easier to navigate through countless songs. This feature will attract users who value a streamlined, user-friendly approach to music management on Spotify.

My own playlisy has around 1,000 songs and a feature of organizing it alphabetical would be so much easier for me and turn my Spotify experience way better.

Let's make music discovery more efficient and enjoyable! 🙂

Thanks,

Anna Geller

You can already sort your playlist alphabetically up or down for titel and artist. And on desktop also for the album name!

Hi there @Annageller26,

Thanks for reaching out. We've moved your post here where it better fits.

What you've mentioned is already possible as @1155290337 mentioned. Here's how to do it:

  • On Desktop, just tap the words "Title" or "Album" and the playlist will be sorted alphabetically based on that criteria.
  • On mobile, after you open a playlist, scroll down to reveal the search bar and the "Sort" button next to it. From there, you can sort alphabetically based on a variety of criteria.

If you want to sort the playlists themselves alphabetically, this is also possible. The option is at the top of the library sidebar on Desktop and at the top left of the Your Library section on mobile.

Hope this clears things up.
