My Question or Issue

Like many other users, I own a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro and the app freezes when touching any of the 3 buttons menu on the app.

TBH This is really annoying, specially since I pay premium. 

Today I downloaded a new version of the app and the issue is still present.

Can you please fix ASAP?

Same issue here. Mine is Redmi 6 (MIUI Global 10.4.4)

The application hangs on any popup menu.

There's also another side effect: the music keeps playing when the app freezes and there's no way to stop it! No matter you abort the app or force to stop, it keeps playing. You have to restart the phone.

I hoped that it will be fixed on last update, but it doesn't.

Same problem here, bought the phone just as it came out and still it freezes, relying on the old phone for Spotify for now... Hope it'll get attended soon

It's ridiculous that Spotify doesn't fix the problem, and also deletes the posts with solutions. Isn't it great?

I've found a solution.

Download Spotify Lite and you can click on the 3-dots button.

Spotify Lite isn't available in the Play Store for my country, I can't understand why.

With all these restrictions and crappy support Spotify pushes me to install the v6 or lite versions from unreliable sources. (!!)
