Automatic playlist subscription

Hey guys,

a few months back from now, I got some kind of playlist recommendation on spotify which allowed me to automatically subscribe to 2 playlists with R3HAB songs. I kinda liked the feature in the first place and enjoyed the playlists, but about a month later I unfollowed the playlists and a few days later I had them in my library and was following them again without doing so myself. This "automatic subscription" happens every time I unfollow them, they're basically stuck to my library...

These are the affected playlists:

I hope someone here knows a setting or something where I can deactivate this "feature". Thanks in advance for everyone helping me with this.

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. 

 

If you stopped following the playlists you mentioned but they're still featured in Your Library > Playlists, would you mind trying each of the following steps?

  • Restart the Spotify app. 

  • Log out and back in. 

  • Check the app is up-to-date.

  • Reinstall the app.
    Note: After reinstalling, you'll need to redownload any music you've made available for offline listening.

  • If possible, try a different internet connection.

Suggesting this since what you've experienced might be likely solved by forcing the synchronization between your account and the actions you take with it.
