Can’t play purchased audiobooks on my iPhone, only on webplayer

I purchased an audio book on the Spotify website on my laptop but I can only listen to it on my laptop. It shows up in my iPhone and iPad library but it is locked. Frustrating-please help! I want to listen to it on my mobile device

Thank you for reaching out. Purchased content should be accessible on any device as long as you are logged into the right account.

We'd suggest logging out and in two times in a row, as that forces a re-sync between the app and our servers. That should let you access the audiobook you have on your laptop.

Did you work out how to get audiobooks to play in app? I can get them online and listen to them as part of my premium account but they show as locked in my library app.

Thanks for posting in the thread!

Keep in mind that audiobooks included in the subscriber catalog are labeled as 'Included in Premium/your plan', and the titles may vary from those that are available for purchase. This means that if the label doesn't appear, you won't be able to access it as part of your subscription.
 

Audiobooks that's available for purchase on Spotify can be purchased directly in the Web Player, if you find a book that you'd like to listen to. Once you’ve unlocked a title there, you can listen to the book in the app. Feel free to have a look at this page for more info on how to purchase audiobooks 🙂
