My Question or Issue

Hello! I have a problem with listenning to music from playlist "Local files". One time i added song to my playlist and i could see it and play it freely. But suddenly, idk why, i tried also adding local music to my playlist on pc and then on both devices i cant play downloaded music in my playlist, but in general it is playable in spotify. And what is strange, i can see this song in web player. I attached photos, you can check how it looks for me. Sry for bad grammar, im student, hope i explained it right. Here you see web player where is unavaialble song but it is my downloaded songHere you see web player where is unavaialble song but it is my downloaded songHere you my phone spotify playerHere you my phone spotify playerAnd here you see my pc spotify playerAnd here you see my pc spotify player

Hey @Raveoli,

Thanks for posting this thread and for the provided screenshots!

As far as I understand, you can no longer play local files on your PC and phone, but they used to work. Is this correct?

Keep in mind that in order to be able to listen to local files on different devices, you need to have the actual tracks stored on these devices. Once they're physically stored on them you just need to head over to the app settings & switch on Show local audio files. For the time being, you can't listen to local files in the Web Player.

Would you mind removing the local files from Spotify on your devices then clearing the cache and adding them again to see if it makes any difference?

After that test if you're able to add the song(s) to different playlists.

Hope to hear from you soon 🙂
