I don't understand why, but when i log into Spotify on google, it only shows I have 2 playlists. On my app, all my playlists are still there. I did change my user name from the app, but when I noticed that my playlists weren't on the google log in, I changed my user name back in the app. Also, when I try to share my playlists, it gives me notice saying "something went wrong". The only way to share is to copy the link to my clipboard. Help
Hey @Don_AJ_Adams, thanks for reaching out to the Community!
When you mean Google, do you have a device that is made by Google that this happens on? If so, could you try a clean reinstall of the app on that device following these steps.
Also, attach a screenshot of the error message you’re seeing when trying to share.
Looking out for your reply!
These are in the Spotify app. When When I select the playlist, the background pic changes and then when I try to share, I get that notification. The only way to share it is to copy to my clipboard.
Hey @Don_AJ_Adams,
Does this happen when you perform a clean reinstall of the app following the steps I provided in my last reply?
Also, make sure that the Messenger, Facebook, and Twitter apps are downloaded to the device as well and see if that makes a difference.
Let me know how this goes!
This is when I log into Spotify.com from my Google browser on my phone. As you can see, my playlists show up in the shortcuts area, but is only shows I have 2 actual playlists
Hey @Don_AJ_Adams,
Just to confirm can you let me know if you reinstalled the app? The feedback I receive from the troubleshooting steps is necessary to solve the issue as quick as possible.
Also, do you see all see all playlists, when you log in to the web player on a desktop or laptop?
Keep me updated.
Thanks for getting back to us with more info @Don_AJ_Adams!
Could you try logging out > restarting your device > logging back in 2 times to make sure everything is synced up - you can do that both on the app and the web player version.
Keep in mind that sometimes it might take some time for the cover photo of a playlist to update, so we'd suggest waiting about a day to see if it'll work out.
We'll be on the lookout for your update here!
