Desktop: Invisible UI element can accidentally unlike a song.

Desktop: Invisible UI element can accidentally unlike a song.

Operating System

Windows 10

When in the Liked Songs section, if I try to hover over close the the notifications bell I am still able to unlike a song by clicking in the header. Please see the attached screenshot. The mouse is pointed at the header but it's still possible to remove a song this way..

This means that when accidentally misclicking the notification bell it's possible to accidentally remove a song from the library.

Hey @drey09!

Hmm, this doesn't seem to happen on my end. Are you able to consistently reproduce this behavior? Does it occur with any other playlists/albums or only with your Liked Songs? If you haven't already, try performing a clean reinstall of the app to see if that fixes it.

In case the issue persists, please share the exact version of Spotify you're running. A short screen recording which captures this in action would also be greatly appreciated. It's also worth testing if installing the app from a different source exhibits the same behavior: if you're currently running the version from our website, try downloading the Microsoft Store one instead, and vice versa.

Keep us posted on this. Cheers!
