Downloaded Playlist won't play local files from computer, on iPhone

My Question or Issue

Recently my local files on my Macbook (which play and display perfectly fine on my Macbook), now no longer play on my iPhone. I have followed instructions to the T about downloading the playlist and adding library songs from Spotify, and nothing works. Library songs from Spotify work and download on the phone. but the Macbook 'local' files appear greyed out.

Thanks for reaching out. Does this happen on different networks? Consider performing a clean reinstall on both devices and then resyncing them again.
