My Question or Issue

So the headline says it quite simply. This February a really good feature  was introduced for podcast on Spotify.whenever I pressed the download button on the podcast episode it was automatically added to „your episodes“ playlist within the podcast tab. Also when I removed an episode from the podcast playlist „your episodes“ the download of the episode was automatically removed.this was a really neat future because to save time and extra clicks.I love that.

 

yesterday I switched phones and had to reinstall Spotify. unfortunately this feature it’s not available for me anymore. whenever I download an episode it does not get added automatically to the podcast playlist. I have to press the add button manually. whenever I remove the episode from the playlist I have to perform a second action to delete the episode. So now I need to manage my downloads manually and the podcast Playlist. Extra work for me instead of support by Spotify for making my life easier. that gets now really frustrating because it is so much more extra work.how can I re-instate the old behaviour from february?


is there something I can do? Or did you guys flipped a switch on the server side that **bleep** with the experience

 

its just so bothering that you change every few weeks Features which confuses customers. I am more in this forum than actually listening music or podcast

The latest update and a fresh reinstall fixed the problem. This can be closed
