Enhanced playlist adding songs vastly different from rest of the playlist

Enhanced playlist adding songs vastly different from rest of the playlist

I am getting music added to a Hands playlist that is actually opposite of what is on the playlist. For example, a playlist of retro country and Bluegrass music is adding hip-hop when I choose enhance.

Hey there, welcome to the Spotify Community!

I get that your enhanced suggestions are not as precise as expected. For example, many factors contribute to curating recommendations for your playlists including your listening history but mainly the songs in the playlist. The more you use it, the better it will get.

From my personal experience, I can assure you that, sometimes it takes more time to give you more accurate suggestions. But, there is another way to get tracks suggested for your playlist. That is, using the Playlist Radio feature. It might be more tailored to your playlist. Just open the options for any Playlist, and click on Playlist Radio to get started. You can find out more about Radio here.

I hope that helps, your enhanced suggestions get better over time so you can rest assured. Feel free to reach out if you need anything else.

I am having the same, but opposite problem. The playlist is skipping all of the songs that I entered in the playlist and instead playing some person complaining about their woman  leaving and taking the dog because someone 'stole' their job. That, I can handle from time to time when family is in town, but this is rediculous.

Is there a way to remove songs and artists from play on my account because I worry I am accidentally going to make them money and I certainly do not want to do that. I'll keep looking in the settings but any help would be appreciated as I cannot passivly listen to spotify at the moment when every other song needs to be skipped.

Not as angry as I sound,

Gabby
