My Question or Issue

Hi, i signed up for a free account a week or two ago on my ipad and made some playlists. However, after about a week of using my phone to play them, the format on my phone has completely changed.

1. If i select a song it doesnt play from the beginning. 

2. When on shuffle, i can no longer skip back or forward. 

3. Im now receiving ads. 

4. Spotify seems to be adding songs to my playlist. 

5. The format is now different. 

 

As far as i can tell, these changes havent been made to my i pad but only my phone. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community!

Regarding your question, on-demand mobile access is available only for Premium users. However, it's available on selected playlists for Free users on mobile as well, there will be no shuffle symbol next to the title of the playlist. That means, you can choose a song you want to play and you have unlimited skips.


You can still play on-demand using a desktop device and iPad, even without Premium Subscription.

 

The reason your format changed on your mobile is because there's a free week of premium trial for new accounts.
