Enhance was launched several months ago and Norway supposed to be covered. I am still waiting and no Enhance button has shown on my playlists.

I really want to test this feature and am wondering why it is not available to me as a premium customer?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

 

Can you try logging out, restarting your device, and logging back in? If that doesn't make any difference, try restarting the app twice in a row. This may sound odd but it's how the app does a resync.

 

If the feature is still missing, can you confirm if it's missing in all your playlists? Additionally, try logging in to your account on another mobile device to see if the feature appears there.

Thank you for your reply and confirmation.

 

Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

 

If that doesn't do the trick, can you provide us a screenshot so that we can have a closer look directly from your end?

I just found out about this enhance button and I would really like it on mine but it doesn’t show up in any of my albums. I already did what you said to do but it still doesn’t show up. Can someone help please?

Can you let us know which version of the app you're having?

It would also be great if you can have someone with this feature on their account log in with their account on your device to see if the issue persists - such as a friend or a family member? This will help us understand if it's account related or not.

Sorry to say that I tried everything you posted and nothing helped.

Here are the screenshots you asked, some of them are taken on my iPad and one on my iPhone, as you can clearly see none of my playlist show the Enhance button. Even the newly created Test playlist doesn't have it. I don't know what is Spotify doing with my account, being a paying premium customer and not been able to access all the premium features that other customers in Norway are accessing with their plans feels really cheap.

Thanks for the reply.

 

The Enhance feature is still being rolled out, so everyone should get access to it eventually.

 

What you can try is to ask a friend/ family member to log in with their account on your device and check whether Enhance is available. This way we can check if the issue is account or device related.

Just checked on my daughter's iPhone who has a Premium Duo family account (separated from mine) and she doesn't have the Enhance button either on her playlists.

Apparently accounts in Norway aren't then getting the feature. Why is it shown in the Spotify page https://newsroom.spotify.com/2021-09-09/get-perfect-song-recommendations-in-the-playlists-you-create... that Enhance is available in Norway? The feature was announced on September the 9th, this was 4 months ago so why are accounts in Norway that still don't have it?


That’s the version I currently have 8.6.84.1353. The button still shows up when they log in into my account.

Just to clarify, this feature is only for personal playlists and not albums. It also seems that you're not running the latest version of the app. Could you make sure to update it?

 

If it's still missing, we'd like to know exactly what you've tried. Did you try logging in to a different account that has the feature, on your phone? Could you log in to your account on a different mobile device?

Hello! I have the same issue. I have a Premium subscription but the Enhance button doesn’t show on any device (old phone, new phone, iPad, computer…)

 

I have tried the steps above apart from logging in with a different account where the button is shown. But since it doesn’t appear on any of my devices I don’t see how it can be a device problem?

 

The feature sounds great and a lot of my friends are super happy about it, do would appreciate it if you could make it work for my account as well!

 

Mainly using v. 8.6.94.351 on iOS 15.2

Thanks for reaching out about this. 

 

Currently, this feature is only available on the mobile app. 

 

If you can't see it on your own playlists, it's well worth running a clean reinstall of the app on your phone by following these steps to see if that helps.

 

In case the issue persists afterwards, would you mind logging out > restarting your router > logging back in? Also, we'd recommend trying with a different internet connection. 

 

Lastly, we'd like to confirm if you could see the option while using a different account on your phone.

Hello,  I'm having the same problem.  I am located in the USA.  I have done a clean reinstall and had my brother log in to my account from his phone in a different state. I am using version 8.6.94.  I am also using an Iphone 12 with IOS 15.1.1.  nothing has fixed the issue, Any ideas?

We understand you're missing the 'Enhance' feature for your playlists. We can also see you've done some valid troubleshooting for your device already which is good. It's also worthwhile restarting the app twice in a row. This may sound odd, but it's how the app does a refresh, so you can see if this will make any difference for you.

 

Also, could you ask your brother to log in to your devices with his own account (If possible) and to see if he'll have the button there? We ask this so we can conclude if this situation is related only to your account or not.

Let us know how things work out, we'll be keeping an eye out for your reply.

Hello,

I have the same issue for my login: No Enhance button for my playlists. I'm using Android version 8.6.94.306 (Russia account)

All solutions from this thread were tried from my side. It doesn't add the button. Also I tried to login on another phone where the button is presented for another login. My login doesn't have Enhance on this phone 😞

PS: I have Duo account and slave account has this button

Could you send us the URL of some of the playlists where you're trying to find the Enhance button? 

 

Also, could you connect to a different WIFI/mobile network to check if that makes a difference?

Yes, I tried different type of network connections: Wi-Fi (I tried different hot points), Mobile Network. There is no difference 😞
PS: Also I tried clean cache/all data, re-login, re-install, remove app - reboot device several times in a row - setup again. It didn't help 😞 As I mentioned before I have the device where second login has the button but my doesn't

Can you log in to your own phone with the other account? This way we can check if this is also related to your device. 

 

If the issue is present only on your own phone, please let us know the make, model and OS version, as well as the Spotify version you're running.

Thanks for trying to resolve this.
I checked the same phone for 2 logins: My and Duo partner. Partner has the button 'Enhance' but I don't.
I tried it on Samsung A41 with the latest available OS: Android 11.
The same issue I have with Samsung S8 with the latest available OS: Android 9
Spotify version is 8.6.94.306
