How do I remove the Daily Mix Image or Daily Mixes all together

How do I remove the Daily Mix Image or Daily Mixes all together

I don't know how the image on my daily mixes were selected, but I dislike them. How do I remove the images, which I have tried, or remove all the daily mixes from my screen?

And why would you create an algorithm that chooses what the subscriber will see without their input?

Please advise

Your right, that's not nice. I have some friends having the same issue. I myself never connected Facebook... but I get u. Have u tried disconnecting Facebook? Can you lock at your Facebook settings to withdraw your agreement of Spotify using your Facebook contents? You should be able to see connected services somewhere in your account settings, there it may be possibly to only cut parts of the connection... (Maybe only personal pictures)

But I also understand Spotify. Your account is private and your daily mixes will never be published. I guess most users are kind of happy to have that personalization. They enjoy to have there own Spotify created playlist and feel nice about the individual picture.
Maybe, even if u don't like it, u can c why it kinda makes a little sense.
You don't have to follow these mixtapes and if they keep being private no one will get to c them.

I wouldn't take it as a reason for Apple music... Spotify is just so much better.

But I'd approve if you publish it and an idea. You have my vote for a setting to turn personal picture integration for playlists covers off. But I wouldn't generally turn it off, as I said, some users really could enjoy it. It's all about user experience.
So if you open your idea for a vote, just let me know under this entry.

Hi there @harperworx,

thanks for reaching out !

If you've created a Facebook based account and opt in with your data, the "Daily Mix" playlists might show pictures from there.

However, the "Daily Mix" mostly show a mix of crafted artists pictures of the artists within the playlist - these are unchangeable.

You can read all about your "Made For You" section here.

Hope this is what you meant.

Let me know if you have any further questions 🙂

Thank you,
I so despise the image on Daily Mixes 1 and 2 so much that I signed up for
Apple music, shortly after receiving your email telling me I have to live
with it. I am a long time premium subscriber and I've paid until June. As
happy as I am with the music, those images have to leave or come June 24 I
will.

I don't believe you would really use that Apple**bleep** because of it...
Anyway, have u tried disconnecting Facebook? If the connection doesn't exist, the next image cannot be one of your Facebook pictures.
Why have u posted this pictures? Maybe by deleting the Facebook pictures u do the Spotify covers too...

Actually I would, because the issue is why does Spotify get to determine
which of my images to use? I have no say so in the matter, nor can I select
an image of my choice? I'm paying to listen to music, not argue with an
algorithm over the use of my images.
I removed the image from my computer and Facebook months ago

Thanks for the advice

I too dislike the faces on the daily mixes. Mostly disturbing or funny lookin people and they NEVER go away or change. Like really? Look at these same creepy people looking at me every time i open spotify. literaly !@%#$ off with daily mix image stuff.

Can I stop the ugly faces from looking at me from Spootify if I pay? So tired of the same faces smiling at me like a creep every damn day.
