How to remove Spotify as a playlist collaborater

I have a playlist that i curated with love and care at the beginning of summer.  Today, Spotify decided that my playlist wasn't good enough and appointed itself as a co creator to mix in music i don't want or need.  Rude.

I disabled autoplay similar content but Spotify is still a co creator on my playlist and adding songs as i listen.  This is so upsetting and violating.

How do i get them off my personal playlist and how do i prevent this from ever happening again?

It seems like the playlist is auto playing.

To disable autoplay on the desktop: Settings > Autoplay, then toggle off

On mobile: Settings > Playback > Autoplay similar content, then toggle off

Hi @hollyaschulz,

It's also possible that you've accidentally toggled on Enhance / Smart Shuffle for your playlist. Both features add song recommendations (hence the + Spotify next to your name) which if you like you can keep in the playlist. To turn them off:

• Enhance: open the playlist and tap the Enhanced button.
  
• Smart Shuffle: open the playlist, tap the Shuffle button and switch to regular play/shuffle.
