When I go on my liked songs it won't let me play anything but if I go on other play lists it let's me select songs

Do you get any error message when trying going to your Liked songs? Could you send over a screenshot so we can take a look?

In the meantime, we recommend logging out and back in twice in a row to force a sync between your app and device. If that doesn't help, then it's best to perform a clean reinstall of the Spotify app by following these steps. No worries, you won't lose any saved content.
