I don't want specific music in my Daily Drive, On Repeat playlist, social media, etc?

Solved!

I don't want specific music in my Daily Drive, On Repeat playlist, social media, etc?

This is kind of a weird request but if there is music that I listen to frequently but not music that I want to show up in my daily drive or whatever, is there a way to prevent that? I'm in college right now and I listen to a lot of instrumental music while studying but I don't want these albums/songs in my curated playlists made by Spotify. I also link my Spotify account to my social media and I don't want my top artists to be showing up as the miscellaneous artists on the studying playlists I listen to

Hey @dicamplidominic

I totally get it, there's some music which is practical for some situations but generally not suited to be portrayed as your taste.

Luckily, there is such a feature, which excludes playlists of your choosing from your overall taste profile.

You can find it in the menu within the playlist, the one you get after pressing the 3 small dots.

It's the last feature on the list and it's conveniently named Exclude from your taste profile.

You could also start a private listening session if you're going to be playing such music.

Good luck
