I might have played a song too much

I might have played a song too much

I played one album a lot, and hit by accident the repeat button of one song. Now the artist doesn't come up on random, or when my playlist ends. Not on my own account or my friends. It always used to do that. Have I blacklisted the artist? His music is still there, it just doesn't come up.

Hello @new6

Perhaps you could head over to the artist's profile page and make sure that you did not accidentally press "Don't play this".

That will work better on a mobile device.

You could also try restarting your device, clearing cache, removing the SD card and logging out temporarily.

It's also possible that the artist's music is currently unplayable by either all users or some group.

In any case it's unlikely that playing the song too much removed the artist from your recommendations.

Good luck and let me know how it goes 😄
