Impossible to like tracks and subscribe to artists

Impossible to like tracks and subscribe to artists

Hello,

 

I currently have a spotify premium account for 8 or 9 months. But for a little over a month now, I can't like any tracks or subscribe to any new artists. I can't dislike or unsubscribe either...
This is a problem for me because I pay every month but I can't access all the features anymore...
Note that this problem is only present on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S8): on my computer, I can like, dislike, subscribe... but it doesn't update on my phone (whereas when I add a track to a playlist on my phone, it updates on the computer).
I disconnected my account on the computer, on the phone, and then reconnect but the problem remains the same. I also tried uninstalling the application from my phone and reinstalling it but that didn't work either. Finally, I did not find any solution on spotify's support or in the FAQ's.

 

Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community!

This situation is a bit strange, so we assume something has happened with the cached memory on your mobile. Great that you've tried to troubleshoot the app there as this looks like the right thing to do.  It could be worthwhile to perform a so called clean reinstall of the app, as this is more thorough than the normal reinstall and ensures that no cached data will cause interference with the new installation of your app. See if this will make things work as expected.

If the behavior continues after the clean reinstall, then please come back with a short video of the situation and also the exact version of Spotify and Android installed on your Samsung Galaxy S8.
