Liked Albums not Showing as Liked on Artist Page

Liked Albums not Showing as Liked on Artist Page

I listen to albums from the artist page. After i complete an album i "like" the songs that i want in my "liked songs" library and i "like" the album so i know that I've listened to it.

Occasionally, I'll be on an artist page and notice that an album i previously "liked" is no longer highlighted as such. If i go to the "albums" library page, showing all the albums i've "liked", it still shows up there. And if i go to the "Artist from library" page the songs from that album are still showing and the songs i "liked" are still in my "liked songs" library.

It can be inconvenient because there have been times i didn't realize i listened to the album and re-listen, not realizing i already have the songs in my library.

Is there anything I can do? I am assuming this is happening when Spotify loses a license or an artist/label remove an album, and Spotify gets it back. When music I've "liked" is removed from Spotify will I still see the songs in my "liked Songs" library or will they be removed until they come back to Spotify?

Any help or feedback on how this all works would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That’s a common issue that Spotify is not able to or willing to fix.

Hey there @liveontwolegs,

There's already a similar sounding idea for consolidation of duplicate liked songs where you can add your +VOTE

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any further questions 🙂
