Thanks for reaching out!

 

Just to confirm, does this happens when you click on the first song in your Liked songs playlist? If so, could you check if a clean reinstall makes any difference? This will clear any cached files that might be causing issues, as well as ensure that you're running the latest app version.

It's also a good idea to make sure that both Shuffle and Smart Shuffle are switched off in the app before you play anything. You can try clearing your queue as well, as the issue you're experiencing could be caused by songs added in the play queue. Have a look at this page for info on how to clear the queue.

 

Shouldn't the steps above do the trick, can you let us know what device this happens on? Does it only occur on a specific device, or on all devices that you use Spotify on?
