Listening music 8 hours in the office, but not wanting it in daily mixes

Hi,

I know it is a strange title but the situation is that I use Spotify in my office for a background music - easy listening, instrumental, ambiental, etc. And that is played 8-10 hour a day.

Then in my free time, I listen to other, more lively music I like. But the problem is, that all my daily mixes come from the "office" music, and I do not want that.

So how could I solve the problem. Of course, I can play YouTube music in my office, and Spotify in my free time, but ....

Please take into account that your personalized playlists consider all the music you play through the day, regardless of genres. 

However, you can make use of the Private Session feature, which will make the music you play at your office stop affecting your music recommendations. Just keep in mind that it will also stop your account from sharing your listening activity with your followers. 

In the meantime, keep playing your favorite music without the Private Session on, so your personalized playlists can adapt over time.
