Listening to whole library all at once

Listening to whole library all at once

My Question or Issue

Hi,

To my knowledge, there is no option to listen to your whole library directly (either randomly or from artists from A to Z, for instance). The only solution I found was to create a 'my library' playlist where I would add every song manually. However I've now reached the max playlist length (10k songs).

Is there any other way to listen to the whole library all at once, without limits? Is this feature planned for dev or is there any other alternative?

Many thanks for your answer or for redirecting me to a post where this topic is already discussed 🙂

Hey there, @t0adu2fzslk7mvnzjy7a,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

While there isn't a direct way to do this at the moment, we're always looking for opportunities to enhance the user experience for everyone, so your feedback on this is greatly appreciated.

In the meantime, here's something that might work for you (emphasis on might, due to the playlist's size) in the desktop app:

  1. You mentioned that you have a rather large playlist that covers a portion of your music library. What you can do is capture the rest in another playlist(s) of a similar size.
  2. Add all playlists to a Folder, then Shuffle-Play it.

Hope you find this useful. Cheers 🤘
