My Question or Issue

I can copy local files saved in a playlist to my Liked Songs list in mass by highlighting the first and doing a shift-click on the last and moving them to my Liked Songs on my desktop, though after I do none of the liked song hearts turn solid green yet the songs appear in Liked Songs.

I can also click each song individually in my Android app and the liked song heart does turn solid green and the songs appear in Liked Songs.

So if I do either of these, does it choose the Spotify version of the song or is either method really putting my local file into the Like Songs list?

Hey @michaelkovach64,

Spotify is set up to always try and match a local file with a track in our catalog. So if it is successful, it will always play the "Spotify version".

That being said, it seems you might've found a display issue with the heart element. Can you please let us know your exact Spotify version (Click on the three dots menu > Help > About Spotify) and if possible upload a video recording so we can take a closer look?

Thanks!
