My Question or Issue

I have files that I legally bought and downloaded from BandCamp and cannot select them for Local Files download. I've tried uninstalling Spotify, logging out x2 in a row, moving the files to a new folder, sending the files (which are already .MP3) through a .MP3 converter recommended by an article pertaining to Local Files downloads, and still nothing has worked. When I go to select local files from the Finder window, they are always greyed out and unable for download.

Hi @Pboyce!

If I understand you correctly, you're trying to add the tracks to your library. You can do this by selecting the source folder (i.e, you cannot manually add individual tracks, you can only add source folders) - this would add all tracks from the source folder and you can find them under Your Library > Local Files. From there on you can add individual tracks to your playlists.

You also don't need to download the files in order to access them in Offline mode, as they're already stored on your device. It's worth checking out this article for more information on how local files work, if you haven't already.

In case you meant something else, feel free to elaborate so we can help out further.

Cheers!
