Local Files show on PC but not on phone - Android

My Question or Issue

I have some Local Files and they show up on my PC and moved them to one of my playlists and it works just fine. It also appears on my phone's app, but the titles are grayed out with a "!" under the title as seen on the screenshot. And whenever I tap on the title it doesn't play at all. Both apps and OS on my phone and PC are all up to date. 

I did this some time last year and it worked fine, but now it doesn't.

Thanks for reaching out in the Community about this.

Apologies for the delayed response, we've just come across this thread.

Can you try running a clean reinstall on both your devices, making sure you clear the app cache. Have a look at this article and follow the device specific steps.

After that make sure both your phone and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi and have both apps open and running when you upload the local files.
